According to Guru Maa Nidhi Ji Shrimali, there are four Navratris in a year, in which everyone worships Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri, these are called Prakat Navratri. Apart from this, Navratri of Magha and Ashadh month is called Gupta Navratri. Today (June 19, 2023) the Gupta Navratri of Ashadh month has started from Monday, which will end on June 28, 2023. In Gupta Navratri, ten Mahavidyas of Maa Durga are worshiped secretly. The worship and wishes done in these Navratri are kept secret. Devotees of Tantra Mantra perform special Sadhna during Gupta Navratri.

Auspicious time for establishment of a Kalash

The auspicious time for setting up the Kalash for the worship of Gupta Navratri is on Monday, June 19, 2023, from 05.23 am to 07.27 am. Apart from this, Abhijit Muhurta on this day is from 11.55 am to 12.50 pm. Kalash can be established in this Muhurta also.

What is the significance of Ashadh Gupta Navratri?

According to Guru Maa Nidhi Ji Shrimali, Gupta Navratri is considered most auspicious for attaining Gupta Siddhis. According to mythological beliefs, Vishwamitra got immense powers only after worshiping Gupta Navratri and during this time Meghnath, son of Ravana, defeated Indra by doing hard meditation. It is said that if a seeker secretly does the sadhna of the nine holy forms of the Goddess at a certain time during Gupta Navratri, then he gets happiness, good luck and health from Maa Durga.

  • One should wake up before sunrise to worship the Goddess on the Gupta Navratri of Ashadh month.

  • After taking a bath, place the idol or picture of the Goddess in a holy place on a post with a red cloth and sanctify it with Ganges water.

  • Sow barley seeds in an earthen vessel before starting the worship of the Goddess according to the rituals.

  • After this, set up the urn for the worship of the mother and recite Durga Saptashati by lighting unbroken light and chant her mantras with full devotion.

10 Mahavidyas are worshiped in Gupta Navratri

10 Mahavidyas are worshiped in Ashadh Gupta Navratri. All the 10 Mahavidyas are forms of Maa Durga. It is believed that by doing Tantra Sadhana in Gupta Navratri, a person gets special results. Also, many types of problems coming in life go away. Goddesses are pleased with Dashamahavidya Sadhana during Navratri. The goddesses of Dashamahavidya are Dasharoop- Kali, Tara, Chinnamasta, Shodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Tripura Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Bagla Mukhi (Pitambra), Matangi, Kamla respectively. Each Vidya gives different results and gives success. Mahakali is the chief goddess of the Dashamahavidyas and one of the Mahavidyas. Beej mantras have special importance in Dashamahavidya Sadhana. Biggest problems can be avoided by Dashamahavidya Sadhana.

Why is Gupta Navratri different from other Navratri?

1. Vasant or Sharadiya Navratri is called Pratyaksha and the rest are called Gupta Navratri.

 

  

2. Navadurga is worshiped in Direct Navratri but ten Mahavidyas are worshiped in Gupta Navratri.

 

3. In Pratyaksha Navratri, Satvik Sadhana, dance and celebration are celebrated while in Gupta Navratri Tantric Sadhana and tough fasting are important.

 

4. Pratyaksha Navratri is celebrated for the fulfillment of worldly desires while Gupta Navratri is celebrated for the fulfillment of spiritual desires, accomplishment, salvation.

 

5. It is also said that Pratyaksha Navratri belongs to Vaishnavas and Gupta Navratri belongs to Shaivas and Shaktas.


6. The main goddess of Pratyaksha Navratri is Maa Parvati while the main goddess of Gupta Navratri is Maa Kali.



Keep these things in mind during Gupta Navratri

  1.    If you are going to worship during Gupta Navratri, then you should do this sadhna secretly after being pure in body and mind.

  2. To perform Gupta Navratri sadhna, the seeker should choose a holy and quiet place in the north-east corner of his house so that no disturbance can come there. For 09 days of Gupta Navratri, the devotee of the Goddess should use red colored clothes, red colored flowers, sweets etc. during worship. Similarly, red color should also be used for the aasan for worship. If there is a red colored woolen aasan, then it is very good.

  3. A seeker who worships Goddess Durga during Gupta Navratri should always try to get up before sunrise during these 09 days of fasting and should not sleep late even by mistake. Similarly, a seeker who observes Navratri fast should not sleep during the day.

  4. Worship Ashadh Gupta Navratri every day at a fixed time and chant at least one rosary of Goddess Durga's mantra for the whole 9 days while worshiping her with incense-lamps etc.

  5. A seeker who does Gupta Navratri sadhna should not consume tamasic things even by mistake and should consume only those things which are used during the fast. Similarly, the seeker should strictly follow the rules of celibacy.

  6. Since there is a lot of heat in North India during the Gupta Navratri in the month of Ashadh, in such a situation, the seeker must give water from time to time to the barley sown in the mother's urn or any vessel for the whole 09 days, so that it grows green. Keep making

  7. While doing Gupta Navratri Sadhna according to his belief, on the day of Ashtami or Navami, the worshiper should worship the girls, who are considered as the form of the Goddess, and take their blessings by giving them some gifts while sending them off.

  8. In Gupta Navratri, the importance of girls belonging to all castes, who are considered to be the form of Goddess Durga, has been told. In such a situation, you should specially worship a Brahmin girl to gain knowledge, a Chhatriya girl to gain strength, a Vaishya girl to gain wealth, and a Shudra girl to gain health and get her blessings.

  9. In order to get the full results of Gupta Navratri worship, a seeker should perform it in an auspicious time. According to the Panchang, this year Gupta Navratri will be celebrated on 28 June 2023, a Wednesday.

According to Guru Maa Nidhi Ji Shrimali, tell some remedies for Gupta Navratri

  • Worship Maa Adishakti every night during Gupta Navratri and take 9 Gomti Chakras and keep them near Maa on the first day of Navratri. After this, after worshiping on the last day, tie the Gomti Chakra in a red cloth and keep it in the place of wealth like cupboard or vault. By doing this, there is an increase in wealth and grains and the grace of Maa Durga remains.

  • Recite 12th chapter of Durga Saptashati 21 times in Gupta Navratri and perform aarti with clove camphor. Offer a red colored flag in the temple of Goddess Durga on the last day of Navratri. By doing this, happiness comes in the house. Along with this, there is progress in job and business and there are ways to get money. There is never a shortage of anything in life by the grace of Mother.

  • For happiness, peace and prosperity in the family, light a ghee lamp and offer vermilion in front of Mother Adishakti at night during Gupta Navratri. Also keep two cloves in nine batashas and offer them to the mother. By doing this, the way of progress opens and mutual love also remains in all the members.

  • To get rid of all the troubles of life, worship Maa Durga at night during Navratri with camphor cloves and chant the mantra 'Sab Naar Karhin Paraspar Preeti Chalhin Swadharma Nirat Shruti Neeti' 21 times every day. Also pray everyday in Bhairav Baba's temple. By doing this all the obstacles are removed and all the work starts getting done slowly.

  • To get rid of all the troubles of life, worship Maa Durga at night during Navratri with camphor cloves and chant the mantra 'Sab Naar Karhin Paraspar Preeti Chalhin Swadharma Nirat Shruti Neeti' 21 times every day.
